She was so beautiful

A beautiful Black woman

“I was raised in a small town in middle Georgia in the US. When I was in high school I had the biggest crush on a Black girl in my home room (a class I shared with her for three years). She was so beautiful, I would practically drool over her in that way that only adolescent boys can manage. But at that time, the way things were, it would have been impossible (you’d had to have lived there to understand). I was never even able to tell any of my friends, much less her. Pity. But things have changed a lot in my lifetime and I am glad for others who are able to be with the ones they desire and care about.”
